Ashland School Board approves Master Services agreement with Sunstone Housing Collaborative to fill the role of administration, research, community engagement, funding and facilitation of RFP process to discern the potential viability of building attainable housing on land owned by the school district that will support ASD staff as well as families.

Sunstone’s purpose is, among other things, to advance and support the District’s educational mission, including the District’s efforts to attract and retain qualified employees and families with school aged children through the development of below-market-rate housing.

Sunstone’s board of directors are volunteers dedicated to the role of housing in the District’s success. For that reason, the board includes two representatives from ASD board of directors.
